Sharna Burgess is a 31 year old Australian professional dancer and choreographer, with a background in ballet, jazz and gymnastics. Started training at the age of 8, and at 15 she was already representing her country at the World Championships.
She also performed in the closing ceremonies at the Sydney Olympic games.
Sharna is taking part in the Dancing with the Stars 24th season (2017), having as partner none other than cowboy and model Bonner Bolton.

Early life - A bit of a tom boy, the Wagga Wagga born Australian had various interests since young age, at the age of 5 being enrolled for jazz, ballet and gymnastics. She later tried dancing and seems like the bond was the strongest. She participated in several important dance competitions and gradually build a name locally.
UK period - After moving to London, she joined the theatre show, Simply Ballroom, shortly after to be picked up by Burn the Floor team, for 6 years, touring all over the world and got her a spot as lead dancer on Broadway.
TV shift - Returning to Australia she joined the Dancing with the Stars Australia team, and also took part in So You Think You Can Dance in the Netherlands. She's also known for her choreographing role in Street Dance 2.
Dancing with the Stars - Sharna's partner in the series 24th season is bull rider, Bonner Bolton. Some of her previous dancing mates were Andy Dick, Keyshawn Johnson, Charlie White (5th place), Tavis Smiley, James Hinchcliffe (2nd place), Nick Carter (2nd place) and Noah Galloway (finished 3rd place).
Social impact - Strong supporter and promoter of the NOH8 campaign, promoting gender and human equality through education, visual protest and a strong online presence.
